Indigenous Peoples and Social Assessment 2017 (Subic)

 

The training on Indigenous Peoples and Social Assessment was held from April 18 to 21 at the Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

There were a total of fifty-four (54) participants, nine (9) resource persons, and nine (9) organizers from ADB, WB, and UP. Thirty-five (35) or 64.8% of the participants were from government agencies, and fifteen (15) or 27.8% from local government units. The participants were environmental and social safeguard specialists, economic development specialist, planning officers, program officers, project development staff, architect, engineers, community relations/development officers, head of operation, credit evaluation officers, monitoring and evaluation engineer, teachers, research associate, municipal mayor, municipal councilors, municipal consultants and staff, tourism officer, and project focal persons of organizations involved with development projects.
