Involuntary Resettlement: Basic Concepts 2017 (ADB Headquarters)

 

The training on Involuntary Resettlement: Basic Concepts was conducted from February 23 to 24, 2017 at the Asian Development Bank Headquarters as one of the training programs offered during the IAIA Special Symposium on Resettlement and Livelihood Restoration. The Philippine Learning Center for Environment and Social Sustainability (University of the Philippines National Engineering Center), in partnership with the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank, organized the

training program.

A total of forty-eight (48) trainees participated. Seventy-five percent (75%) or thirty-six (36) of the forty-eight (48) participants are from the Philippines while twelve (12) or 25% are from the following countries: India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Nigeria, Thailand, United States of America.
